Selamectin
Selehold can be used during pregnancy and lactation and in breeding dogs. Selamectin and other routinely used veterinary products did not show interactions according to field studies referenced in the product label. Apply this treatment only to dry skin.
This topical may be used in dogs infected with adult heartworms. Before starting treatment dogs 6 months of age or older should be tested for existing heartworms. Avoid frequent swimming or bathing the dog. Keep treated dogs away from fires and other sources of ignition for at least 30 minutes or until the coat is dry.
If you have sensitive skin or are allergic to selamectin, handle this product with caution. Avoid smoking, eating or drinking while handling this product. Do not come in contact with the treated dog until the application is dry. Wash your hands after handling this product.
Keep this topical for dogs in the original packaging until ready to use. Use and store the product away from heat, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition.
Do not use Selehold in puppies younger than 6 weeks of age. If your dog has a known sensitivity to selamectin, do not use this treatment. When using for ear mite treatment, do not apply directly to the ear canal.
Store in the original package and protect it from light and moisture. This treatment does not need any special temperature storage conditions.

Selamectin in Selehold has adulticidal, ovicidal and larvicidal activity against fleas. This treatment has been shown to kill adult fleas on dogs. It also prevents flea eggs from hatching on the dog and in the environment. In addition, the formula kills larvae in the dog's environment and breaks the flea life cycle.
Selehold topical dog treatment is indicated for use once every month.
According to the product label, Selehold can be used in pregnant, breeding and lactating dogs. For your dog's safety, you should consult a veterinarian before using any treatment on a pregnant dog.
According to field studies referenced in the product label, selamectin and other routinely used veterinary treatments did not show interactions. However, it is recommended that you talk to a vet before combining Selehold with any other treatment.
If you forget a dose or are late with the treatment, apply one dose immediately and resume with the regular dosing schedule.
