It contains Nitenpyram as the active ingredient, which kills adult fleas and effectively prevents flea infestations. These easy-to-administer tablets start killing fleas within 30 minutes of administration and kill over 90% of fleas within 4 hours.

Recommended for dogs and puppies from 4 weeks of age and weighing at least 2 lbs, Capstar for Dogs is also safe to use in pregnant or nursing dogs. Furthermore, it kills fleas that may cause flea allergy dermatitis and can be used in conjunction with other treatments.
