What is Nexgard Spectra?

Nexgard Spectra is an oral broad-spectrum treatment for dogs and puppies. Formulated with afoxolaner and milbemycin oxime as the active ingredients, these beef-flavored chewables kill fleas before they can lay eggs and eliminate ticks, mites, and intestinal worms. Suitable for dogs and puppies from eight weeks of age, this comprehensive treatment prevents heartworm disease, lungworm, and eyeworm infections.

How Does Nexgard Spectra Work?

Nexgard Spectra contains afoxolaner and milbemycin oxime as its active ingredients. After administration, Nexgard Spectra is absorbed into the bloodstream. Afoxolaner targets the nervous system of external parasites including fleas and ticks, whereas milbemycin oxime acts against internal parasites.
