• Weigh your cat and select the pack that most closely matches their weight.
• Take the applicator out of the pack.
• Break the seal of the applicator by firmly pressing its cap down.
• A clicking sound will confirm the breaking of the seal. Remove the cap to check that the tip of the applicator is open.
• Part your cat's hair at the base of the neck on its back between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible and place the tip of the applicator on its skin.
• Squeeze the applicator multiple times to empty the entire contents onto the cat's skin in one spot.
• Keep the applicator squeezed and drag it away from the liquid and lift it to remove.
• Do not massage the liquid into the cat's skin.
• To prevent heartworm disease, apply monthly year-round. It may be administered at least within one month after your cat's first exposure to mosquitoes and monthly thereafter until the end of the mosquito season.

Selamectin

Revolution is for external use only. It can be used in pregnant, breeding, lactating and heartworm-positive cats. Keep this treatment out of the reach of children and uninformed people.

Clinical studies referenced in the label suggest that this topical can be used together with vaccines, antibiotics, anthelmintics, antiparasitics, steroids, collars, dips and shampoos.

Precautions

Test your cat for existing heartworms before using this treatment. If your cat is infected, treat to remove adult heartworms at the discretion of a veterinarian.

Do not contact the application site for at least four hours after the application. If you are sensitive to selamectin, consult your healthcare professional before applying this to your cat. This is a flammable product. Keep and use it away from heat, sparks, open flames or other sources of ignition.

Contraindications

This topical treatment is not indicated for kittens below 8 weeks of age. Do not administer it orally. Avoid using it on sick, debilitated or underweight cats. It should not be used on humans.
