Selehold for Dogs Brown is a topical broad-spectrum treatment. It helps protect your furry friends from the common external and internal parasites, including fleas, heartworms and intestinal worms. Formulated in an easy-to-apply topical applicator, this monthly spot-on treatment for dogs is ideal for picky eaters. A single application provides inside-out protection for an entire month, eliminating the need for multiple treatments for different parasites. When used as directed, Selehold topical for small dogs protects against:

Fleas

• Kills adult fleas before they can lay eggs.
• Kills flea larvae in the environment.
• Breaks flea life cycle.
• Treats and prevents flea infestations.
• Aids in the control of existing environmental flea infestations.

Heartworms

• Prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis.

Intestinal worms

• Helps treat roundworm infections.

Lice, Mange & Mites

• Treats ear mites, biting lice and sarcoptic mange infections.

Active Ingredient

Selamectin 60 mg

Indicated for

Dogs from 6 weeks of age, weighing between 11.0 and 22.0 lbs.

• Weigh your dog and select the pack that closely matches their weight.
• Take the applicator out of the pack immediately before administering the treatment.
• This treatment should be applied to the dog's skin at the base of their neck in front of the shoulder blades.
• Hold the applicator upright and twist and pull its cap off.
• Turn the cap around and place the other end of it on the applicator.
• Break the applicator seal by pushing and twisting the cap. Remove the cap from the applicator.
• The dog should be in a standing position when applying the treatment.
• Part your dog's hair at the base of the neck in front of their shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
• Place the tip of the applicator directly on their skin.
• Empty the entire contents of the applicator in one spot on the skin by squeezing it multiple times.
• For the prevention of flea infestations, begin treatment with Selehold one month before fleas become active.
• To prevent heartworm disease, administer Selehold within one month of the dog's first exposure to mosquitoes and monthly thereafter until one month after the last exposure to mosquitoes.
• When you forget a dose, apply one dose immediately and continue with the monthly schedule.

Selamectin

Selehold can be used during pregnancy and lactation and in breeding dogs. Selamectin and other routinely used veterinary products did not show interactions according to field studies referenced in the product label. Apply this treatment only to dry skin.

Precautions

This topical may be used in dogs infected with adult heartworms. Before starting treatment dogs 6 months of age or older should be tested for existing heartworms. Avoid frequent swimming or bathing the dog. Keep treated dogs away from fires and other sources of ignition for at least 30 minutes or until the coat is dry.

If you have sensitive skin or are allergic to selamectin, handle this product with caution. Avoid smoking, eating or drinking while handling this product. Do not come in contact with the treated dog until the application is dry. Wash your hands after handling this product.

Keep this topical for dogs in the original packaging until ready to use. Use and store the product away from heat, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition.

Contraindications

Do not use Selehold in puppies younger than 6 weeks of age. If your dog has a known sensitivity to selamectin, do not use this treatment. When using for ear mite treatment, do not apply directly to the ear canal.

Storage Instructions

Store in the original package and protect it from light and moisture. This treatment does not need any special temperature storage conditions.
