Cestem Flavored Tablets for Dogs – Oral Worming Treatment

Cestem wormer treats dogs infected with roundworms and tapeworms, which can produce eggs that can also infect people. It treats major gastrointestinal worms including tapeworms, hookworms, whipworms and roundworms. The oral treatment works against Nematodes: Ascarids: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adult and late immature forms). Hookworms: Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults). Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis (adults). Cestodes: Tapeworms: Echinococcus spp., Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum (adult and immature forms). It is safe to administer and there are no known side effects.

Cestem Flavored Wormer Tablets for Dogs

Cestem Flavored tablet is excellent remedy for treating worms in dogs and puppies. It contains three main ingredients Praziquantel, Febantel and Pyrantel Embonate. The active ingredient Praziquantel is kills tapeworms and its other species. The Febantel acts on roundworms and Pyrantel is effective against hookworms and whipworms. The combined effect of these ingredients helps to control various worm infections and safeguard your dog against harmful intestinal worm disease.

• Should be given orally with or without food.
• No starvation is needed before or after treatment.
• Weigh dog before starting the treatment.
• Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age and every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Thereafter they should be treated at 3 month intervals.
• For routine treatment a single dose is recommended. In the event of heavy roundworm infestation a repeat dose should be given after 14 days.
