• Weigh your dog and select the pack closest to their weight.
• Take an applicator out of the pack.
• Firmly press the cap to puncture the applicator seal.
• A clicking sound will confirm the breaking of the seal. Remove the cap to check that the tip of the applicator is open.
• Part your dog's hair at the base of the neck on its back between the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible and place the tip of the applicator on its skin.
• Empty the entire contents of the applicator by squeezing it multiple times onto the dog's skin in one spot.
• Drag the applicator away from the liquid, keeping it squeezed and lift to remove.
• Avoid massaging the liquid into the dog's skin.
• For heartworm disease prevention, use one dose every month throughout the year. It may be applied at least within one month after your dog's first exposure to mosquitoes and monthly thereafter until the end of the mosquito season. Apply the last dose within one month after your dog's last exposure to mosquitoes.

Selamectin

Revolution can be used in pregnant, breeding and lactating dogs. It has been tested to be safe for pure and mixed breeds of healthy dogs, including avermectin-sensitive collies and heartworm-positive dogs. Keep it away from children and those who are uninformed. You should keep this product away from heat, sparks, open flames or other sources of ignition.

According to clinical studies referenced in the label, this topical can be used in conjunction with antiparasitics, vaccines, anthelmintics, antibiotics, steroids, collars, shampoos, and dips.

Precautions

Before using Revolution, test your dogs for existing heartworms. Treat infected dogs at the discretion of the veterinarian. Do not allow children or anyone to come in contact with the treated dog until four hours after application. If you have a known hypersensitivity to selamectin, consult your healthcare professional before applying this to your dog.

Contraindications

Revolution topical for dogs is not indicated for puppies under 6 weeks of age. Avoid using on sick, debilitated or underweight dogs. It is not indicated for use in humans.
