Bravecto Topical – 12-Week Flea & Tick Protection for Dogs

Bravecto Topical for Dogs is a long-lasting treatment to help protect your furry friend from common external parasites. A single dose of this spot-on formula offers effective defense against fleas and various tick species for up to three months. If your dog is reluctant to take oral chews or tablets, this topical flea and tick treatment is an excellent alternative. It comes in a twist-and-use applicator for easy and hassle-free administration. When used as directed on the label, Bravecto Spot-on for dogs is effective against:

Fleas

  • Kills adult fleas.
  • Helps treat & prevent flea infestations.
  • Helps reduce the signs of flea allergy dermatitis by killing fleas.

Ticks

  • Treats & controls tick infestations of black-legged tick, American dog tick and brown dog tick for 12 weeks.
  • Treats & controls lone star tick infestations for 8 weeks.

Indicated for

Puppies and dogs 6 months of age or older, weighing 4.4 lbs or greater.

  • Weigh your dog and select the pack that closely matches their weight.
  • Wear gloves.
  • Open the pack just before use and remove the applicator.
  • Hold the applicator in an upright position at the crimped end, with the tip up.
  • Rotate the cap one full turn, clockwise or counterclockwise.
  • The applicator is open when you feel the breaking of the seal and is ready for use.
  • Do not remove the cap; let it stay on the applicator.
  • The dog should be in a standing or lying position with its back horizontal during application.
  • Part their hair at the base of the skull until the skin is visible.
  • Place the tip of the applicator vertically against the skin at the base of your dog's skull.
  • Squeeze the applicator multiple times and apply the entire contents directly to the skin.
  • Do not apply an excessive quantity in one spot.
  • If you need a second spot for the application, apply behind the first spot.
  • Treatment with Bravecto Topical may begin at any time of the year.

This treatment is for topical use on dogs only. Keep this product out of the reach of children and uninformed individuals. Wash your hands after handling the treatment. The field studies referred to in the label have shown that this treatment can be used with vaccines, anthelmintics, antibiotics, steroids and sedatives. Bathing your dog or water immersion three days after application will not reduce its effectiveness.

Precautions:

The safe use of this treatment has not been evaluated in breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs. Use this topical treatment with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. Consult a vet before use.

This is a flammable product. You should keep it away from open flames, heat, sparks or other sources of ignition. Do not allow children or anyone to come into contact with the application site until two hours after application. If you have a known sensitivity to fluralaner, talk to your healthcare professional before applying it to your dog.

Contraindications:

This spot-on formula is not indicated for use in dogs under 6 months of age or below 4.4 lbs of body weight. It should not be administered orally. The treatment is not indicated for use in humans.

Storage Instructions

Store it in the original package to protect it from moisture. Open the pouch immediately before use for maximum efficacy. Do not store it above 86°F (30°C).
