A cat remains our cuddle buddy forever.
That bundle of cuteness is so addictive that we can’t spend a day without
playing with her. Either a pet or a person, there are flaws in everyone. We
might sometimes get perplexed about the weird stuff because it may not make any
sense to us but what if it really makes sense to them? Same applies to cats. At
times, you may have observed your kitty probably doing a few behaviors that
leave you scratching your head. Not every behavior needs to serve a logical
purpose. Therefore, here’s a list of things that makes sense to your cat but
not to you.

A Sudden Jump In
Your Lap

Okay!
So you’re sitting on a sofa or relaxing on the table and suddenly see your cat
jumping in your lap, this may seem weird behavior to you. But, your cat jumps
in your lap and curls up may simply mean that she’s just asking to be stroked.
This sudden change in their attitude may seem to come out of nowhere. This may
come when your cat feels stimulated from the constant petting and she feels
that the only way to stop her from scratching and biting herself is when you
stroke her and pet her back.

Eating and
Immediate Vomiting

Cats enjoy eating grass. If you allow your cat to be outdoors, she will sit and eat the grass like a sheep. However, after a while, you may notice her puking the same greens that she munched a few minutes ago. Though there are several theories, experts say that the cat uses grass as a way to fill an empty stomach. Moreover, some cats may also gulp in the grass to vomit their hairballs that aren’t passing through the empty stomach. Moreover, also ensure to protect your cat with flea and tick preventives before you take them outdoor.

The Crazy Cat
Dance

Your
cat out of nowhere starts chasing the imaginary mouse in the house or may also
start dancing suddenly. This behavior may indicate that your cat has either
build-up a lot of energy that she needs to get out or she might be simply
chasing the light. But, it is imperative for pet parents to know that your cat
can smell, hear and sense those things that can go completely undetected by
you.

The Reading Rebel

This
behavior of kitty may seem annoying to many pet parents but it’s actually
adorable. So, no matter how many interesting stuff and toys you provide your
cat, she will most likely choose to sit on the one piece of paper that you’re
trying to read. This displays nothing else but a cute indication from your
kitty that she needs attention and more attention.

The Paw Dip

This
is another strange behavior that your cat might display. The behavior of your
cat dipping her paw into the water bowl and then licking the water off instead
of just drinking it in the normal way makes no sense to us. However, for a cat,
to dip her paw in the water makes her feel comfortable. There are times when
your cat may not feel it safe to lower her head into the bowl as it will
obstruct her view, so she feels that dipping her paw is a better method.

The Backside
Facing Position

So,
your cat comes to you, jumps and sits on your lap and then faces away from you.
This may seem to be an insulting behavior for many human family members.
However, the simple reason for this is that your cat trusts you, she trusts you
immensely that she can sit around you anywhere by not facing you. It can also
indicate that she’s going to watch the environment for both of you.

So,
after knowing the reasons behind your cat’s strange behavior, all you have to do
is to go and hug her right now. The adorable behavior that she does is all
worth your love!

What greater gift than the love of a cat. A cat remains our cuddle buddy forever.
